Chaos Group has announced that from the November updates onwards, V-Ray GPU will have support for NVIDIA RTX’s RT cores to speed up production rendering. The announcement highlights that the benefits can vary depending on the scene, but their tests showed an average speedup of 40% just by enabling the new feature. V-Ray Next Update 3 for 3DS Max is the first to incorporate this technology and is available now.
