Act3D recently unveiled Lumion 11, the newest iteration of its real-time engine designed for architectural visualization. This release introduces a range of exciting features, including an orthographic view that allows users to generate textured and lit plans, sections, and elevations, as well as isometric renders.
A notable addition is the animated phasing effect, enabling users to create compelling build-up animations, such as tree growth and building construction, through preset transitions. Other enhancements include the ability to add rain streaks to glass surfaces as part of the precipitation effect, volumetric fire, micro shadows for spotlights, improved grass lighting, a metallic car shader, 401 new assets, custom IES spotlights, LiveSync for BricsCAD plug-in, a RAL color picker, high-quality theater preview, and more.
