Install Maya 2020 Silently on Windows, macOS, Linux: Step-by-Step

Installing Maya 2020 silently on Windows, macOS, Linux.

On Windows:

1. Download Maya 2020 installer using Browser Download method.
2. Extract Maya 2020 installer for a local drive.
3. On the Command line, go to the root of the Maya 2020 extracted installer
4. Run the command: setup.exe –silent

On macOS:

1. Download Maya 2020 installer on our macOS client.
2. Open a Terminal window.
3. Enter the following on the Command line:

sudo /Volumes/Maya 2020 Installer/Install Maya 2020.app/Contents/Helper/Setup.app/Contents/MacOS/Setup -–silent

On Linux:

1. Download Maya 2020 installer
2. untar the installer
3. Open a terminal window
4. Change directory to Maya 2020 unpacked installer directory
5. run following command:

sudo ./Setup --silent

Note: note two dashes in front of the silent switch.
