Ftrack has unveiled the integration of its production tracking, asset management, and media review applications with Unity and Unreal Engine. The developers state that “by working through a native ftrack Studio panel in Unreal or Unity, artists and animators can import, version, and publish assets, engage in communication regarding uploaded assets, view assigned tasks, and review notes and updates pertaining to their work. Producers and supervisors can monitor and optimize all ongoing work within a production, arrange team workflows, and conduct online reviews of the content.”
The Unreal and Unity integrations for ftrack are anticipated to be available for Beta testing this autumn. For additional details and to register as a tester, please visit the ftrack website.
Also recently announced was integration with Perforce Helix Core, which is one of the most commonly utilized distributed binary storage systems within the game and media industry.
