Issue:
When using a local cache to access files from a remote server with Cloud Software, the process can be slow and sometimes fails on files larger than 500 MB. You might encounter any of the following warnings and errors:
File Save Error
Can’t begin chunk inside Data chunk.
Or : File archive failed (code -2).
Attention
File <path>.max is possibly corrupt.
Causes:
Saving or archiving larger files to a cloud-based storage location.
Solution:
If you encounter any of the noted errors and are unable to save files, try the following:
- Save the file locally and upload.
- Save the scenes using BIM 360.
- Export as FBX and save.
