Epic Games has announced that Unreal Studio, including Datasmith its importer from popular CAD and DCC applications, will remain free. From version 4.24 onwards, Unreal Studio will no longer exist as a separate product, and its features will be integrated into Unreal Engine. This announcement also coincided with the news that Epic has acquired Quixel.
