The Blender Foundation has just revealed the outcomes of this year’s Google Summer of Code. A total of 7 projects reached completion, encompassing enhancements to the Outliner, refinements to Cycles and EEVEE for Procedural Content Creation, core support for VR headsets via OpenXR, Bevel Custom Profiles, Intel Embree BVH for GPU, improvements to the Cloth Simulator, and ongoing progress on the LANPR Engine.
