Autodesk has announced the public beta of a USD plugin for 3ds Max 2022. This new plugin integrates USD technology into 3ds Max, allowing users to create, edit, and collaborate on USD data. It also offers import and export capabilities for cross-platform workflows. The plugin is available as a separate installation from users’ Autodesk account page or through the Autodesk Desktop Application. Release notes can be found on the 3ds Max 2022 help pages.
