Unity Technologies has announced the release of ArtEngine 2021.10, the latest version of its AI-powered material authoring toolset. A key feature of this release is a Unity Direct Link, enabling users to export materials directly into a Unity project and modify them within ArtEngine. This streamlines the workflow and enhances the integration between the two platforms.

Additional improvements include the ability to export materials as Unity asset packages, eliminating the need for a separate plugin. Users can now leverage built-in templates or create their own, providing greater flexibility and customization. An AI-powered masking node called “feature selector” has also been added, offering more precise control over material creation.

ArtEngine is now available at a significantly reduced price of $19.00/month. This change makes the software more accessible to a wider range of users.
