Otoy has announced the release of Octane 2022 Preview and BrigadeBench. The release introduces a new Photon Tracer Kernel offering up to 1000x faster caustics, Arnold Standard Surface support, and 3x faster particles, among other improvements. For the first time, this release also includes Brigade and BrigadeBench, representing a real-time path tracing engine.
This release also includes annual passes to KitBash 3D models and Greyscalegorilla Plus, and LightStage MetaFace scans. This complements existing subscriber access to World Creator, EmberGenFX, Architron, and Sculptron.
