Understanding Compatibility Issues with Cinema 4D Versions
It’s a common scenario: a plugin that worked perfectly fine on earlier versions of your 3D software suddenly becomes incompatible after an update. That’s exactly what happened with CV-Toolbox v2.17 and Cinema 4D. While it ran smoothly with Cinema 4D 2023.1.3 and older versions, changes in Cinema 4D 2023.2 and later made it incompatible.
But don’t panic! If you were using CV plugins in Cinema 4D 2023.1.3 or an earlier version and then updated to Cinema 4D 2023.2 or newer, your CV plugins should still be accessible within the Extensions menu.
