V-Ray Next Benchmark: Test Your Hardware’s Rendering Speed Today!

V-Ray Next Benchmark is available to download now

Test the speed of V-Ray Next on your hardware

Is your hardware ranking in pole position? V-Ray Benchmark is a free standalone application designed to help you measure how fast your hardware can render. The benchmark includes two test scenes – one for V-Ray and another for V-Ray GPU, allowing you to assess the rendering engine you’re most interested in.

With V-Ray Next Benchmark, you can quickly and easily assess your machine’s performance capabilities when running V-Ray Next. See how your computer compares to others and learn how different hardware configurations impact your rendering speed. Use V-Ray Next Benchmark to put your system to the test and push your components to their limits.

WHAT’S NEW
New features available in V-Ray Next Benchmark

  • V-Ray Next performance
Evaluate your hardware using the performance of V-Ray Next.
  • New test scenes
Created for V-Ray Next, these scenes are designed to challenge even the most powerful hardware.
  • New results system
The new smart scoring system makes it easy to compare hardware performance capabilities. The linear scoring results system simplifies comparisons; for instance, a processor that is twice as good should achieve double the score.
  • V-Ray GPU Next hybrid rendering
Compare the results of GPUs, CPUs, or any combination of processing units.
  • Benchmark GPU devices individually
Test one or any combination of GPUs to understand how performance scales.
  • Faster benchmarking
Our smart score calculation system can benchmark hardware performance with a single minute of rendering.
  • New user interface
The easy-to-use interface reflects all the new functionalities.

GETTING STARTED

To get started, log in to your Chaos Group account and download the V-Ray Next Benchmark application.

V-Ray Next Benchmark does not require a V-Ray license to run.

Simply launch the application and start the tests. Once your tests are complete, you can share the results online and see how your hardware compares to others. It’s a good practice to note any special hardware modifications you’ve made, such as water cooling or overclocking.

If you’re looking to benchmark your render farm or cloud setup, utilize the command-line interface to test without the GUI.

V-Ray Next Benchmark works on Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
