The PSD to 3D Plugin, developed in-house, empowers users to transform sketches into malleable scenes and characters, primed for further refinement and animation within Maya. Following conversion, the 3D objects are readily available in Autodesk Maya for meticulous adjustments, encompassing depth and resolution. Every object seamlessly correlates to the original Photoshop layers, affording artists the flexibility to construct and modify scenes and characters derived from the source files.
The PSD to 3D plugin is available in two versions: PSD to 3D Lite and PSD to 3D Pro. Each version is compatible with Photoshop CC 2014–2019 and Maya 2016–2019. Both versions were available for a reduced rate until June 3, 2019.
