UNIGINE has announced the release of version 2.10, introducing several noteworthy new features to their real-time engine. One of the most significant additions is a brand-new terrain system, capable of handling areas up to 10000 x 10000km, or even larger if you don’t need to simulate the earth’s curvature.

Other enhancements include an improved C++ and C# API, a high-level car physics system for more realistic vehicle simulations, upgraded volumetric clouds for stunning visuals, and updated particle systems for dynamic effects. They’ve also introduced a new Build tool to streamline the process of assembling standalone projects, along with a texture profiler tool to help with asset optimization, ensuring that projects run efficiently.
