Pixologic has announced the release of ZBrush 2021. The most notable feature is the introduction of dynamics, encompassing both cloth dynamics and a selection of cloth brushes designed for the interactive addition of wrinkles and intricate details.

Dynamics have been expanded to other areas as well. The video showcases FiberMesh integrated with dynamics, alongside a new “Unweld all with dynamics” feature, which creates a disintegration effect. This release also includes real-time micro-poly support and presets, all of which can be combined with cloth dynamics simulations.

Improvements to Nanomesh and Zmodeller are also demonstrated, along with a new dynamic thickness option for shelling geometry and enhancements for improved speed.

As is the standard practice, the update is available at no cost for registered ZBrush users. You can view a comprehensive presentation on YouTube for more insights.
