Chaos Czech has unveiled Corona Render 7 for 3ds Max! This update is packed with exciting enhancements, including:
- A brand new Physical Material, designed for improved compatibility across different software and workflows. It features mapped Metalness, includes choices between Roughness or Glossiness modes, and supports clearcoat and sheen.
- 35 pre-built physical material presets.
- The Corona PRG Clear Sky Model has been significantly improved, now offering controls for aerial perspective, turbidity, altitude, and horizon blur.
- Enhancements to 2.5D Displacement.
- Faster rendering speeds! This is achieved through block-wise pass calculation, optimized opacity/absorption with multiple hits, faster denoising, and general performance boosts.
- Quicker scene opening times, thanks to background loading of textures and proxies.
- Elimination of artifacts in large scenes, specifically those far from the 3ds Max 0,0,0 origin.
- The built-in library has been updated with improved metals, masonry, and wood materials.
- Fixes applied to the Global Volumetric Environment.
- Updated denoisers.
- And so much more!
