Adnan Chaumette, former TD and Content Evangelism Lead at Quixel and Epic Games, has launched Polygonflow, a new software development company focused on creating a fresh approach to tool development, sharing, and maintenance. Their initial product, GraphN, is now available in beta.
GraphN is designed to be an artist-friendly framework for creating new tools. Described on the website as “a visual coding software for artists unlike any other,” it features hundreds of nodes, each rich with tags, descriptions, and names familiar to artists. Its subgraphs and portals eliminate the complexity of spaghetti node graphs.
In addition to the visual programming tool, GraphN includes a library of pre-made tools that integrate with 3D software or game engines, offering a glimpse into its capabilities and providing a set of useful plugins right out of the box. Examples include world-building and scattering tools, content creation tools for detail placement, decimation, and stylization, as well as export utilities.
The beta version supports Maya and Unreal Engine 5, with future plans to include support for Unreal Engine 4, Blender, and 3ds Max.
GraphN is priced at $8 per month or $80 per year for personal licenses, and $50 per month or $500 per year for studios. A free trial is also available. You can find more information and download the beta.
