Google, just before the I/O 2019 event, revealed the winners of the Play Awards, celebrating the best Android apps and games. The nominees in nine categories were announced at the end of last month, with the awards ceremony held in Mountain View, California.
There are nine categories, each judged on overall quality, strong design, technical performance, and innovation. The nominees were initially chosen by various teams within Google. Winners, announced during the May 6th event, received a silver Play trophy and are featured on the Play Store.
